About me
A touch of orange
My childhood in various countries shaped me with a wealth of cultures and perspectives. Growing up as an expat with an international upbringing and graduating high school in picturesque Rome, I was always taught to remain open to new ideas and worldviews. Yet, the connection to ‘the Netherlands’ always stayed close. From Dutch lessons after school to celebrating Sinterklaas and King’s Day with a dress code of ‘a touch of orange’—these traditions gave me an anchor in a world full of change.
This background has shaped who I am today: someone who approaches every project with an open mindset, a creative spirit, and a professional attitude. During my bachelor's program at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU), I started my own business as an event and corporate photographer. Here, I learned to seamlessly combine creativity and entrepreneurship, something I continue to do with passion and dedication to this day.
During my master's degree I worked intensively with the family business Tom Tomeij Photo & Film and further refined my skills as a corporate and wedding photographer. I have been active in this field for years now and I still get a lot of satisfaction from capturing unique moments.
What sets me apart is my commitment. I like to work closely with my clients to bring their vision to life. Originality and reliability are essential to me, and I am always looking for ways to surprise people with new ideas and creative solutions. Whether it is a wedding, a corporate event, or strengthening the branding of a start-up, I like to think along and use my versatility and intuition to create something special together. From galas and anniversary days to intimate weddings and grand corporate events: I enjoy the diversity in my work and the collaborations that result from it. My mission? To create a collaboration that inspires, connects and leaves a lasting impression, time and time again.
